The International Association for Orthodontics (IAO) was established in the United States in 1961 to promote international cooperation in the orthodontic field of dentistry. The IAO is a progressive and dynamic organization of general dentists, pediatric dentists and other dentists that provide orthodontic care to patients. The International Association for Orthodontics is the oldest and largest of the national and international non-specialty orthodontic groups. The association has a wide variety of programs in orthodontics training, education, professional support, clinical experience and literature. Today the IAO has member dentists in over 60 countries worldwide.

PROFESSIONAL ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM

The Professional Advancement Program is designed to define individual levels or ranks of orthodontic knowledge and orthodontic skill-sets for members of the IAO.  

STUDY CLUBS

IAO Sectional Study Clubs provide regional CE courses. Easier and less expensive to advance your education in all aspects of dentistry while connecting with friends.
